In this live video, oboist Melinda Maxwell explores contemporary writing for oboe, performing the world premiere of Simon Holt Raw Air, which was written specially for Melinda. She will also draw on examples from Edgard Varèse Octandre and Harrison Birtwistle Pulse Sampler.

In this concert on the 8th May 2020 Principal Violin Jonathan Morton and London Sinfonietta Oboist Melinda Maxwell perform eight of the Postcard Pieces we have received so far.
